Our bed bases are made with wood sourced from forests in the Dordogne region. The solid poplar frame allows us to create a lightweight, strong, and rot-resistant product (having undergone no chemical treatment, only natural drying). For a longer lifespan for your mattress, we recommend switching to this type of fixed slats. Flexible slats lose support (in less than 5 years) and can prematurely damage the mattress.
